I used to enjoy writing but somewhere along the line I lost my steam. A few months ago I came across your blog, & I fell in love with everything you wrote, long or short, and the passion you wrote with. It made me feel like I was the girl making the long commutes to Manhattan, who went dancing & whose heart was too heavy. It inspired me to start writing again, because even if it wasn’t so good, I remembered how much I loved it. So thank you, for teaching me to love again.

I kept this in my askbox for so long because I didn’t really know how to respond. It’s a compliment I don’t feel worthy of, but it’s one I want to keep.

I don’t write as much as I’d like to here, but I’m glad that whatever small contribution I’ve made to the ether of the blogosphere had an impact on you, and I SO appreciate you taking a moment to say so. Really.

I would write whether anyone liked it or not, but it’s so much nicer the first way.
