Hey ladies,

can anyone recommend a game changing hair product for extremely fine, straight, tangly hair?

I spent almost my entire life using nothing but shampoo because I was convinced anything else would weigh it down/make it look greasy. Three years ago, I started using conditioner, and my hair loves me for it. In the past year, I’ve started cautiously experimenting with products.

Currently I use whatever shampoo smells the best/is cheapest depending on how rich I’m feeling, conditioner, and the following products on damp hair:

Not Your Mother’s Smooth Moves Frizz Control Hair Cream (I actually love this stuff)

Garnier Fructis Brilliantine Shine Spray (I’m not convinced this does much of anything)

Garnier Fructis Body Boost Root Booster Spray (ditto)

Organix Nourishing Coconut Milk Anti-Breakage Serum (only the teeniest tiniest bit!)

In the past I have also tried Pantene’s Fine Hair Mousse, which is alright, and Herbal Essences Tousle Me Softly, which I like, but traded in for Smooth Moves.

Ideally, my hair would be full, smooth, healthy and tangle-free (honestly, by the time I get to work it looks like I’ve never brushed it in my life). Can you help?

And if anyone suggests not washing it/washing less, I will be forced to hunt you down and kill you. IT DOESN’T WORK FOR ALL HAIR TYPES and no, I am not willing to sacrifice 3 months of disgusting hair for a lifetime of fewer showers. Thank you.
