Jump, Little Children - Mexico

When I’m having an especially tough day, I have a tendency to latch on to certain songs, seemingly at random, and listen to them over and over again. Today it was this one, and it was playing in my head all day, even after I took off my headphones. It’s got a comforting melody that sort of steadily chugs along and then soars. 

I’m homesick, horribly. So I bought a ticket home today and in two days I’ll get to see my dad and tell him all the ways the city’s done me wrong this week.

I just need a hug so badly right now.
